Join Endra, a Swedish construction-tech startup transforming how buildings are designed. Our AI-powered platform automates MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) design, producing detailed 2D/3D models, calculations, and documentation—seamlessly integrated with Revit and other industry formats.

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our on-site team in Stockholm, Sweden. You’ll play a central role in engineering the next generation of solutions for the built world.

The Role

  • Full-time, on-site position based in Stockholm
  • Take end-to-end ownership of complex product features for Endra’s core platform
  • Translate ambiguous product needs and ideas into robust, high-quality software
  • Tackle problems involving automation, AI workflows, and interoperability with leading industry tools (e.g., Revit)
  • Have a direct impact on the product roadmap and user experience in close collaboration with product, design, and other engineering colleagues

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of substantial features and platform improvements
  • Make architectural decisions and trade-offs aligned with long-term sustainability
  • Write clean, maintainable code and uphold high standards in testing and documentation
  • Partner with product managers and designers to identify real user problems and deliver pragmatic solutions
  • Rapidly learn and apply new technologies as the platform evolves
  • Contribute to a culture of ownership, clarity, and constructive feedback

What Makes Someone a Strong Fit

  • Senior engineering ownership: Recent experience leading and delivering complex projects—making technical decisions, navigating ambiguity, and seeing things through to production with minimal hand-holding
  • Strong, versatile software engineering skills, not limited to a single stack: Solid coding fundamentals, sound system and architectural judgment, debugging prowess, and a talent for picking up new frameworks when needed
  • Product mindset: Genuine interest in how engineering decisions improve user and business outcomes; comfortable challenging requirements to ensure the right problems are being solved
  • Experience with AI or automation-heavy products: You’ve helped build or ship software where AI, automation, or intelligent workflows are core to the value proposition
  • (Bonus) Relevant experience integrating or working alongside MEP, BIM, or CAD platforms
