The Role
As a Member of Technical Staff on Vetnio's Builder team, you’ll take on a broad and hands-on role driving progress across our product and company. This is the right place for a generalist developer who thrives on variety, ambiguity, and autonomy.
You’ll work day-to-day on:
- Designing and shipping product features from start to finish
- Debugging, fixing bugs, and supporting integrations
- Leading technical or operational projects that help Vetnio move faster
- Partnering with founders on product direction, internal tooling, and customer challenges
- Accelerating customer onboarding, integrations, and product iteration
You will succeed by quickly delivering impactful improvements and becoming a trusted, unblock-anything teammate. Within the first three to six months, a strong hire will ship meaningful product changes with limited supervision and help Vetnio serve new clinics and customers more efficiently.
What Makes Someone a Strong Fit
- Builder mentalité and ownership: You take ambiguous, high-impact problems and drive them to completion without waiting for detailed requirements. You have a history of owning end-to-end projects and finding missing pieces yourself.
- Full-stack product engineering: You’re comfortable working across modern web stacks. Bonus for experience with TypeScript, React, backend APIs, integrations, automation, or AI features.
- Generalist, founder-like drive: Whether from founding projects, startup experience, or self-led growth, you show high agency, resourcefulness, and wide-ranging curiosity.
- Problem-solving and adaptability: You pick up new tools and domains quickly, learn by doing, and adjust fast when things change or break.
- Customer and operational focus: You care about solving practical customer problems, building onboarding flows, implementing integrations, and responding rapidly to feedback.
- Extra edge: Experience with AI workflows, automation, or building operational tools is highly valued.
